Technical Consultant / IAM Consultant (Identity & Access Management)

A Technical Consultant / IAM Consultant (Identity & Access Management) is needed to join a specialist provider of fully managed IAM Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for consultants at various levels of experience to progress their career delivering IAM projects at client sites across the UK (we don’t mind where you are based).

Established in 2008 this leading provider manages over 500,000 identities in 67 countries for an impressive client list that includes major high street retailers and global charities. Offering a wide portfolio of services, ranging from expert consultancy to fully managed solutions their ‘raison d’etre’ is to make sure customers maximise their return in identity management technology.

Utilising your understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies you will work across a portfolio of projects and managed service contracts at client sites. Whether you are leading projects; capturing requirements; designing and implementing solutions; handing over to support; or working with colleagues, customer and suppliers you will play a vital role ensuring projects are delivered to client specifications on time.

Required Skills

You should be an Technical Consultant (Identity & Access Management Tech) / Identity & Access Management Consultant / Field Engineer / Security Consultant / IAM Consultant / Information Security Consultant / Managed Services Consultant / IT Project Manager / Professional Services Consultant or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

Technical expertise in a leading identity and access management technology;
Knowledge of federated authentication and web access management techniques;
Experience in a technical consulting role;
Experience with Linux and Windows server operating systems;
Excellent communication (written / oral) and interpersonal skills;
You are a creative problem solver.

Any knowledge or exposure to federation / web SSO technologies (SAML, WS-Federation, Shibboleth, PingFederate, Okta, Microsoft Azure AD) and identify lifecycle /provisioning systems would be advantageous but full training is provided. As would experience with Java, PHP and / or C#.

A talented 3rd Line Support Engineer is needed to join a specialist provider of fully managed ID solutions. With full training on offer expect a varied role supporting managed service contracts for leading brands.

Offering a wide portfolio of services, ranging from expert consultancy to fully managed solutions their ‘raison d’etre’ is to make sure customers maximise their return in identity management technology.

Joining as the 3rd Line Support Engineer you will provide first class support to a portfolio of managed service contracts whilst visiting customers for quarterly technical reviews and requirement gathering workshops. Once your fully trained in next generation Identity and Access Management technologies (Ping Identity Suite), you will utilise your technical support background to lead project workstreams, mentor team members, and provide face to face and 2nd line support to ensure customers get the most from their managed services.

Required Skills

You should be a 3rd Line Support Engineer / Project Engineer / IT Project Manager / Managed Service Specialist / Technical Support Engineer / Managed Services Support Executive / Linux Systems Administrator / IT Support Engineer / Tech Support Analyst / IT Support Executive or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

Experience in a 3rd line support role;
You are comfortable working face to face with customers;
The ability to manage your own workload;
A passion to be trained in next generation Identity and Access Management Technologies;
Experience in Linux System and Windows Server administration.

Any knowledge or exposure to federation / web SSO technologies (SAML, WS-Federation, Shibboleth, PingFederate, Okta) and identify lifecycle / provisioning systems (MIM, NetIQ IDM) would be advantageous but full training is provided. As would an ITIL Foundation qualification.
